Has technology ruined childhood?

In my opinion it has a lot. Why? I’ll try to explain you in the follow paragraphs.
Children play outside less nowadays. In the past, obesity didn’t exist. (Of curse some of the rich people were fat). Everybody knows that if you are obese you are at great risk of diabetes, heart diseases etc. So, the fact that all these aspects of technology (communicating on messenger, playing games on computer, watching films etc.) restrains you in the house, affects your health a lot.
Humans are always searching for perfection and they do search for it in actions like: playing on computer, watching TV, making new friends on socializing network etc., but unfortunately they don’t reach their goal. You won’t be able to make friends anymore. The sentiment of being alone is overwhelming, and the man can’t live in loneliness, because he is a social person. This drives you to alienation. People don’t know anymore who they are, where they are, who they belong to…
In order to understand how dependent on technology we are, imagine a world, where there is no more electricity, because of a calamity (e.g. a solar storm). Everything: internet, TV, cooker, light, warm water will be cut off. On the other hand, public transportation, banks, shops, hospitals will not work anymore. What will happen?! It will be a general chaos. People won’t be able to cook, or to find food, they can’t survive. They will fight for a milk box. A new world war will appear. Disaster.
So in order to prevent this we must relearn to live simpler lives.
People must learn to spend more time in nature, and to try to have real face to face relationship, not imaginary ones, like internet gives you.
