Today many people eat from this kind of restaurants.
Unfortunately, this can be extremely harmful.
First, the food is extremely unhealthy.
It contains a lot of processed aliments, rich in carbohydrates,
calories and fats. That’s why most of the people who use to eat in this kind of
restaurants, gain weight. For example in USA, where the rate of obesity it’s
very high this is in a big proportion because of this habit of eating in fast
foods.
Some people say that the ingredients in this food are horrible
like lefts from animals (skin, fat, cartilages, low quality meat etc).
Furthermore the food is not fresh. It’s prepared a long time
ago, frozen and is only heated on site.
Moreover it creates addiction, but I don’t know why (at
least, this happens to me). The more I eat the more I want it.
Anyway it offers some advantages.
Firstly you can have the food from the moment you’ve ordered
it in 1-3 minutes, while in a restaurant, where the food is freshly prepared it
would take 20-30 minutes.
In addition is cheaper, almost every one can buy from here.
Plus the fact that you can find them everywhere. You don’t
have to walk a lot in order to find one.
You don’t need a reservation. You can go there any time you
want.
Nowadays, when we have less and less time to spend with
cooking, buying fresh food, staying home, eating at fast food restaurants is a
convenient alternative. But fast food can be harmful if you don’t eat it with
moderation. In my opinion is better if we don’t go there very often.
